The classes at the Alliance Française de Townsville range from beginner to advanced level.
Levels can be checked here.

All classes are held at our office at 55, Riverside Boulevard in Douglas
and last 90 minutes, weekly over 4 terms.

Private and Corporate

Private and corporate requests can be catered for.
Please ask our class coordinator for more information.

special price of $65.00 (used over 2 to 3 years in conjunction with other resources).


Fees and payment:

All fees (membership, class fee and/or books) must be paid in full at the time of registration.

Enrolment will be confirmed upon receipt of full payment.

Withdrawal policy:

Any student who has paid for a course and who withdraws at least five working days prior to the
commencement of that course will be entitled to a refund, less 20% processing fee. Application
for refund must be addressed in writing to the Alliance Française de Townsville committee. No
refund or transfer can be made if a student cancels his/her enrolment less than five working days
prior to the commencement of that course, or once the term has started.

Please note that a decision to transfer a student or defer the payment is left to the discretion of
the Alliance Française de Townsville committee.

No refund, transfer, or credit will be given should a student fail to attend every class, or leave
before the end of term.

The Alliance Française de Townsville cannot be held responsible for the students’ change in
work commitments or personal circumstances.

Under exceptional circumstances, such as serious illness, the Alliance Française de Townsville
may consider the request of a student to transfer

from one course to another or deferring his/her fees. A formal request must be submitted to the
Alliance Française de Townsville committee.


The Alliance Française de Townsville reserves the right to divide, combine, or cancel a course
before the start of the term.

The average class size is five to seven students.
In case of cancellation, students may request a transfer to another class
or a full refund of fees paid.
