 COMPETITION

Concours gratuit de poésie ouvert aux jeunes
du monde entier de 9 à 25 ans, que leur langue
maternelle soit ou non le français.
4 catégories: 9-12, 13-15, 16-18, 19-25 ans.

La création pourra être à titre individuel ou
collectif. Un seul poème par participant.

Date limite : le 31 janvier 2018 minuit en
format PDF, à cpi@centreunesco-troyes.org

Thème : “En quête d’équilibre”

Rédigez un poème en français, en vers ou en
prose, sur le thème de l’amour de la nature, du
développement durable et de la préservation de
la planète.

Les lauréats seront récompensés
indépendamment de leur nationalité.

Les 3 premiers prix de chaque catégorie se
verront remettre une médaille plaquée or,
argent et bronze massif et un diplôme
d’honneur nominatif.

Thème :“In search of balance”

Write up a poem in French, in verse or prose, on
the topic of love of nature, sustainability and the
protection of the planet.

The winners will be rewarded irrespective of their
nationality.

The first 3 winners in each category will receive a
gold-, silver- and bronze plated medal and a
personalised certificate of honour.

French schools Competition

The competition is open to all the primary and secondary schools in Townsville
that offer French as an additional language.
Students can enter one (1) or all four (4) categories,
which are poem, song, cartoon and the Julie Ratliff* Prize.

*Julie Ratliff was a French teacher at the Townsville Grammar school, long-time secretary of the Alliance Française, English teacher at the English Language Centre at James Cook University and key participant in the running of the Migrant Resource Centre.

Every year, Alliance Française de Townsville awards the highest achieving James Cook University students from the Townsville campus. The awards are for each year level of French study and for students of non-francophone descent.

French speech contest

The Alliance Française de Townsville is a proud sponsor of the Townsville Speech Contest, a school competition organised and run by the French Teachers’ Network of Townsville (FTNT). The Alliance Française de Townsville has committed to providing prizes to the 3 winners in each grade (6 to 12).
